On this project, Automated Mechanical encountered a building too wide for a crane to lift the AC units to the rooftop. Therefore, the company hired a helicopter to install the new units and remove the old ones. This situation exemplifies Automated Mechanical's innovative approach to overcoming challenges.
Air Handler Change out
Our team efficiently replaced the air handler, and the customer expressed 100% satisfaction with the improved system.
Texas Roadhouse
Through their partnership with the Wattsmart ARC program, Automated Mechanical not only provided Texas Roadhouse with efficient systems that yielded long-term savings but also significantly reduced their installation costs.

Furthermore, the Texas Roadhouse owner appreciates the ability to monitor these systems remotely via his phone.
Two very old units recently failed, and obtaining replacement parts became exceedingly difficult due to their age and the manufacturer's phasing out components over time, a common issue once units exceed their estimated lifespan. This challenge extended beyond parts to the refrigerant itself. Both units operated on R-22, a refrigerant that has become increasingly difficult and expensive to acquire.
Given these challenges, replacing the old units with new 8.5 and 30-ton units was the superior solution. These new systems are equipped with up-to-date parts and utilize the more current R454b refrigerant. We then successfully retrofitted the new units to integrate with the existing ductwork, gas lines, and building controls.
